Naturally Timeless Radiant Eye Cream Review

When I first heard that Norwex had a facial line, I thought, why in the world would a cleaning company devolp a facial care line?  Their motto says it all: Improving quality of life

Norwex Body Bath Towel Review

This just might be the BEST TOWEL in the world.  Once I got my hands on one of  these babies I told my husband he wasn't allowed to use it, that it was MY TOWEL!  :)  What a mean wife I am, right?? 

The Body Bath Towel is by far one of his favorite products.  Why you ask?  Because the XL size actually covers all of his body.  My husband is not a large man by any means, but most towels are so tiny!!  I am 8 months pregnant right now, and it wraps around my big belly :)

Norwex Window Cloth Review

The claim is that the Norwex Window Cloth will polish smooth surfaces, such as your windows, mirrors and granite counters, to a streak-free, brilliant shine, but the question remains, “does it actually work?”

The answer, based on my personal experience, is a HUGE “Yes!”  And I am not the only one who thinks so, this is by far the most popular item I have sold.

I’m sure that when I say, “I hate washing windows”, I’m expressing the sentiment of many people reading this blog.  I hate using the mounds of paper towel, spraying the Windex, wiping and wiping and wiping in circles trying to get the window dry and eliminate the streaks, only to look through my window from the other side to discover that the entire thing was streaky!

But things all changed when I was introduced to my Norwex Window Cloth…

 

I became a window wash-a-holic….it is so fast and easy to get super clean, streak-free windows!  I even go to family members houses and clean their stuff- just to show how great this towel is.  I am sure they love me as much as I love this towel. 

I use this cloth for my windows, mirrors, flat screen computer and TV monitors, microwave front, granite counter tops & stainless steel appliances.  My mother in law has black granite tops and has tried and tried and failed to get them as shiny as when they were installed.  I demonstrated how amazing this towel was and she was hooked.  When I say STREAK FREE, I mean it.  You could use her counter tops now as a mirror.

How to use the Window Cloth: This cloth is best used as a drying cloth. You can either lightly spray the surface with water and then use the window cloth to dry and polish, but I personally prefer to wash first with a Norwex microfiber cloth, which really cleans the dirt, and window cleaner residue off. Then wipe the wet, clean surface with your window cloth until dry. There’s no need to wipe in circles even, just back and forth or up and down, and once around the edge – you will love the results!

To take care of your Norwex Window Cloth: When they need it, they can be washed and dried in your machines using any laundry soap. Dry them with low-lint items (ex: sheets), because the microfiber will grab lint off other things in your dryer if it gets a chance! Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Bleach degrades the fabric, and fabric softener coats the fibers and wrecks their grabbing power. (You can use Norwex Dryers Balls in place of fabric softeners ~ they help eliminate static and reduce your drying time!)

NOTE: If watermarks are left, the cloth is either too wet or the cloth is removing old cleaner residues. In this situation, clean off the surface with a wet Antibac cloth first, then polish with a dry window cloth.     

                                    

Norwex Mop System Review

 

Everyone wants a mop that will make their lives easier.  Well, Norwex has a fantastic mop... it is  simple to use and reduce cleaning time.   Here are some great things about the Norwex mop:

• mop pads are microfiber (contains static electricity to hold dirt)
• mop pads stick to the base easily and keep sticking over time
• mop pads allow for quick and easy dusting and shining my floors
• mop pads pick up dust bunnies, crumbs, pet and people hair
• mop is easy to manipulate

• mop base stays where you put it – doesn’t “flip”
• mop handle telescopes in and out for different mopping jobs

The Norwex Microfiber Mop Pad does an amazing job of grabbing dirt, dust & hair.

The Norwex Superior mop package comes with the aluminum, lightweight telescoping handle (36″ to 63″), a mop base and two microfiber mop pads – a yellow dry pad and a blue antibac wet pad. Overall, I like it a lot.  Whether you get this mop in the small (13″) or large size (20″), the mop pads stick to the base extremely well because of the way they attach with heavy velcro strips – a very secure way of fastening. There is even rubber edging on the base to protect walls.
The Norwex dry pad picks up tons of stuff off my floors that I didn’t even know was there, and it’s great at gathering up all my dust bunnies, hair, crumbs & other miniscule “floor yuck”.
In terms of its ease of use, the Norwex Superior wet mop pad is easy to use if you follow the directions. You’re supposed to move the mop over your floor in a Figure-8 pattern. If you do this, it moves easily. If you just scrub the mop back and forth, the “grab” in the microfiber can make the mop hard to move because it feels like it’s sticking to your floor, and the base can “flip”, as happens with other similarly-constucted mop bases.

What I do like about the base of this mop is that it has a handy-dandy little flip-down locking mechanism that you lock and unlock with a mere push. If you don’t lock it, the base swivels in every direction – handy for getting under your furniture. If you flip the locker down, the base doesn’t swivel anymore, making it great for cleaning walls and shower stalls. You can even buy a mop bracket that snaps onto your mop base – it looks like a Swiffer cloth grabber – which allows you to hook on an antibac cloth or window cloth.

I have found the Norwex mop system to work extremely well on linoleum, tile, hardwood and even laminate flooring – although with any unsealed flooring you need to be extra careful to get all the water up off the surface of the floor. It also makes cleaning large bath stalls, showers, walls and windows a lot easier.

A tip for super-shiny, high-gloss hardwood: The Norwex wet mop will leave streaks behind. BUT – if you wet the dry mopping pad and use it to wet-mop your high-gloss hardwood, you’ll find it dries streak-free!

The Norwex Rubber Brush cleans the hair & dust bunnies from your Dry Mop.

To take care of your microfiber mop pads: Shake the dry pad outside after sweeping, or brush with the Norwex Rubber Static Brush, and re-use to sweep some more!

When the pads need to be cleaned, they can be washed and dried in your machines using any laundry soap. Enviro Cloth Review

This cloth cleans EVERYTHING in my house, and has replaced all of the chemical cleaners I used to use.  Every home should should have one of these!  Here are some of the reasons why I love it so much:

• This microfiber cloth GRABS dirt, soap scum and general grungies like nothing I’ve used before.  The reason for this is because it’s made of such a high grade microfiber ~ each strand is a mere 1/200th the size of a human hair. Translated, this means that the Antibac cloth has a HUGE amount of surface area grabbing the dirt from whatever you’re wiping, making it great for both dry dusting and wet cleaning.  One of my favorite uses for the Antibac Enviro Cloth is in my bathroom ~ the sink, bathtub and tub surround.  Gone is the Comet and Mr. Clean!  Using a minimal amount of elbow grease this cloth cleans the ring-around-the-tub, soapy water spots on the tub walls, toothpaste spatter, hard water spots, and general grossness found in bathrooms.  It leaves everything streak free and eliminates the chemical residue other cleaners leave behind.

• It removes EVERYTHING from whatever surface you’re wiping….using ONLY WATER! The Norwex Microfiber Cloth picks up and holds onto the dirt and anything else on your surface, safely eliminating it from your house, without using harmful chemicals.  As I already mentioned, I have stopped using chemical cleaners thanks to this amazing cloth, because I don’t need them to get things clean.

• The Norwex microfiber cloth is “self purifying”.  There is a silver-based antibacterial agent embedded right inside the tiny microfibers.  This design helps to inhibit bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew growth within the cloth while it’s hanging to dry.  One of the major benefits of this is that your cloth will resist that all too familiar, yucky smell!Norwex Antibac Enviro Cloth – Cleans EVERYTHING in your house!

• The Norwex Enviro Cloths actually cleans better and faster….period.  In my attempt to “go greener” in our home, I have tried other green cleaners, including the home made ones using baking soda and vinegar.  I am rather embarrassed to say that I always reverted back to my bad habit of using chemicals. The reason?  I just didn’t find that the green methods cleaned as well.  Then my sister gave me the gift of a Norwex Microfiber Cloth, and I skeptically started trying it in all the different rooms of my house.  In all honesty,  I was amazed.  In every way this little cloth surpassed my expectations.  Not only did it clean better, but I also discovered that my house stayed clean longer.  Chemical cleaners leave a sticky residue where they’ve cleaned.  When dirt settles on this sticky residue, it essentially gets “glued” down, making it more difficult to clean off.  So, when I eliminated the chemicals, I also eliminated sticky chemical residue, which resulted in surfaces that no longer attracted dirt or encouraged the dirt to really stick, which led to less cleaning and faster cleaning.

How does the Norwex Microfiber cloth differs from the microfiber you can buy at the dollar store??
In addition to its patented antibacterial properties, the Norwex microfiber is a much higher quality microfiber than what you would find at the dollar store or even Superstore or Costco. Each Norwex microfiber is split upwards of 100 times per thread (for superior ‘grabbing’ power), whereas the store variety of microfiber thread is split as few as six times per thread. The cleaning power of a dollar store microfiber cloth is significantly diminished after only a few washes, where as Norwex Antibac cloths have been shown to last seven years or longer, and even after 500 washes, studies have found that an Antibac cloth still picks up more than 99% of bacteria. Another difference between the 2 types of microfiber, is that you can’t put the dollar store variety in the dryer after laundering, but you can dry Norwex microfiber in the dryer. It may not seem like such a big deal until you try fishing them out of your wet laundry…it’s a bothersome hassle!

I encourage you to test this cloth!  I continue to be amazed at it’s cleaning abilities! It will remove old stains from your carpets, take smells from the rim of your toilet (eewww!), wipe grease and stuck on “stuff” from kitchen surfaces, and get soap scum and hard water scales off your bathtub and shower. if you want truely streak-free mirrors and windows, wet your Antibac Enviro cloth with water, wipe the surface, then polish with your dry Antibac Window Cloth. You absolutely will NOT believe how great the result is!

Which Norwex Face Cloth Should I Use?

Norwex has a whole line of bath & body microfiber, and the most popular would have to be the Norwex face cloths – the Body Pack Cloths & the Makeup Removal Cloths.  In a nutshell, these cloths completely clean & exfoliate your skin with JUST WATER – no soaps or cleansers needed.

What is the difference between the two cloths?  Below I will tell you.

• they are velvety and soft & have a suede like texture.
• extremely gentle for those with sensitive skin… I love these for my kids faces.
• great for the tender skin around your eyes.
• they exfoliate your skin, but they’re not SUPER exfoliators… they just give your face a mild dose of dead skin removal!  This makes them ideal for everyday use, you can use them both morning & night… heck, you can even give your face a mid-afternoon wash if you’d like!
• they remove all traces of makeup from foundation to mascara.
• they are smaller than the Body Pack which makes them easy for kids to wrangle!
• even with my oily skin, these cloths are my pick for the dry winter months, when my poor cheeks take a beating from the cold.

• they are a looser weave and a fuzzier texture.
• these are SUPER exfoliating cloths!  If you have rough, dull skin from dead skin build up, you will be amazed at the transformation in the look and feel of your skin when you use one of these cloths.  When I first started washing my face with the Body Pack Cloths, I just wanted to touch my face all the time because it felt so velvety & smooth.
• they are great for every day use IF you have oilier, “tougher” skin (like I do), but I don’t recommend them for daily use if you have sensitive or dry skin.  If your skin is sensitive & prone to dryness, you should use the Makeup Removal Cloths daily, and only use the Body Pack Cloths once or twice a week for extra exfoliation.

Things about them that are the same:

• both the Body Pack & Makeup Removal Cloths have silver woven throughout them for self sanitation purposes
• the washing care instructions are the same for both… in the washing machine, no bleach, no fabric softeners (or dryer sheets), and they can be thrown into the dryer!

Which ones should YOU use?

If you have to choose just one, make sure you get the right pack of cloths for your skin type;

• Oily & “Tough” = Body Pack Cloths
• Dry & Sensitive = Makeup Removal Cloths

I personally recommend investing in them both, if you can… Trust me, you’ll use them and love them!

Foot stone & Timeless Footprints Foot Lotion Review

Let me tell you, moving from New Jersey to Utah has done wonders on my skin and my FEET!  I am constantly having to put on my all time favorite Burt's Bees and lotion, lotion, lotion.  Recently in the past few years my heels have been cracking and looking horrible!  I am so disgusted that I don't even wear my cute stilettos anymore (oh no)!

My friend who also sells Norwex told me, you should try their foot stone, it's great.  Let me tell you I have tried shaving the skin off, a pumice bar, Vaseline with socks when I sleep- nothing helped so I did not think that this foot stone would even put a damper on it.  Well, I was wrong, BIG TIME!

 I used it only ONE time, yes ONE TIME, and my heels were healed.  It was insane.  I soaked my feet in the warm bath and then scrubbed away.  After I got out the bath, I put on the Timeless Footprints Foot Lotion.  It is a light lotion and has a slight tingle to it.  My feet are smooth and look great.  I really cannot believe it.  I am so happy that I found this product and will continue to use it.
